What is Zumba?

ZUMBA is the new and exciting fitness class sweeping across the country! It combines a high-energy cardiovascular workout with pulsating Latin music into a fun, calorie burning experience. It incorporates many dance styles including merengue, salsa, chacha, mambo, cumbia, reggaeton, belly dancing, flamenco and more.  The best part about Zumba though is that no experience is necessary to join in the fun. anyone can do it!  People of all ages, fitness levels, and dancing abilities can have a blast while getting a good workout at their own level. 



Zumba® -  Zumba Fitness is a dance inspired fitness program that features exotic rhythms set to high-energy Latin and international beats.  There’s no other fitness class like a Zumba Fitness Party.   Incorporating a wide variety of dance styles from around the world for a truly unique workout.  It’s easy to do, effective and totally exhilarating, often building a deep-rooted community among returning students.  

Zumba Toning® - Zumba Toning is perfect for those who want to put an extra emphasis on toning and sculpting to define those muscles!  The challenge of adding resistance by using Zumba® Toning Sticks (light weights), helps you focus on specific muscle groups, so you and your muscles stay engaged.  The lightweight maraca-like toning sticks enhances sense of rhythm and coordination, while toning target zones, including arms, core and lower body.  You are also welcome to bring your own weights up to 3 pounds or you can purchase them at our studio.

Shake 'N' Tone® is the newest addition to Party Fitness. This revolutionary class is specifically designed to tone those muscles and burn fat while you have fun! This 45 minutes class combines "Circuit Training" with fun dance you will love for an easy to follow workout. The combination of dance aerobics and circuit training makes the perfect match to burn and tone while you shake it! There is no need to bring weights or any equipment we have it all! This unique class has quickly become a house favorite. (If you are more than 10 minutes late you will not be able to take the class)

Zumba Blast® - Zumba Blast classes happen once a week every Sunday.  Each Sunday will be with a different instructor or combination of instructors.  Sometimes these will be master instructors from other cities or countries, other times they will be with any of our amazing instructors at PFS. These classes are an hour and a half long  and full of energy.  Like all of our classes, everyone is welcome!

WERQ is a wildly addictive dance fitness class based on the hottest pop, rock and hip-hop music. Since its debut in Chicago, WERQ has been featured as one of the hottest workouts in the U.S. WERQ makes dance accessible to every level of student.

MixxedFit® is a people-inspired dance fitness program that is a mix of explosive dancing and boot camp toning.  We dance to our favorite songs on the radio that we would dance to at a nightclub. Then, we spice things up by adding boot camp-inspired exercises to make your workout more effective and challenging.

Partyology® - Partyology Fitness is a super charged, super fun dance workout that feels like a party.  Hip Hop, Brazilian Funk, Dancehall, Soca, Dembow, DC, Go-Go, R&B, Samba, Pop, Merengue and Cumbia are just some of the musical styles you will find here. The best part  of it all is that this fun is offered in an easy to follow format which means you can join in at any time.  If youre looking for something different, you should give Partyology a try. (We offer this class every 1st Sunday of the Month)

A yoga class for all levels focusing on slow flow between poses, deep stretching and relaxation. A great class to unwind from the day and center yourself physically abc emotionally for the week ahead. Bring your yoga mat.

A yoga class for all levels based on Vinyasa"flow" from posture to posture. Invigorate yourself for the day ahead, tone your muscles and find some mid-week inner-peace. Bring your yoga mat.
